My parents on a mission trip in Vietnam
I love every part of them. I love how they raised us up and I always pray to God that I will be the kind of parents that they are to me. I know that it may be a cliche for saying that "we are what our parents brought us up". But it's true, every sense of the word.
People who know me well would always describe me as someone who has a very "stable perspective in life -- someone who knows her strengths and limitations, and someone who is very assured of herself" I think I owe that to my parents. They've raised me up to be a confident woman with the knowledge that I may not be able to do and achieve everything in life, but knowing that I've exerted all my efforts is more than enough. They taught me that positive thinking is a way of life and not just mind-conditioning. They made me realized that i should always learn to accept things that come my way, blessings and even problems. They've taught me to be independent, something that they might have regret teaching, haha.
Everything that I'am is everything that they have moulded me to be. Thank you Mom and Dad. I love you.
And that's the way the cookie crumbles.
