pinaka-kaka

ever since i've started with partyboosters, i've come across a lot of people from all walks of life, may high end, may tama lang and may mid-class. and i'm proud to say that almost all my clients are very easy to talk to. sabi nga ng isa kong client, it's because madali din daw ako kausap. naks!

until i've come across this client na pinaka-kaka ko talaga to date. i forgot her name coz i erased her number on my phonebook na.

here's the story. i think a month ago, one of my suppliers (for my choco fountain needs) left me a message and told me that she has a potential client for me. itext ko daw kasi nagandahan daw sa set-up ng isa kong client sa shakeys. so i assumed that she was one of the guests of that party kasi ganun naman talaga diba?

i texted her days after kasi busy rin. i was like, "hi. im jacque from partyboosters. i was the one who dressed up _____'s party sa shakeys and you liked the decors daw. thanks. what do you need for your party?" ang bait ko diba? hehe. so she replied naman with, "hi. i need lang kasi sana decors for the stairs kasi may balloons na sa shakeys? how much ba yung set up dun sa party ni _________ ?" so blah, blah...i enumerated the balloons etc etc and inquire pa rin sya ng inquire. and then we stopped texting na.

2 days after, i texted just to follow up kasi napansin ko wala sya ni-finalize and lapit na party nya. then she replied with, "ang gusto ko lang naman is yung decors sa stairs, i like what you last texted me." so parang ang off ng text diba? na gusto ba nya yung decors sa stairs lang or gusto nya lahat ng tinext ko at ni-quote ko last time? so i replied with, "ahh, so what do you really need po? exactly the same as _________'s party or yung sa stairs lang?" then she was, "eh bat mo ba pinipilit yang party ni _________ eh di ko naman kilala un! at chaka i didnt even ask for your service!" at nagpintig ang tenga ng lola nyo! ano daw?! she should have told me that she did'nt know that party and that she just dropped by to check the venue. gawd! and sa unang text nya pa lang, she kept on asking about the decors tapos end up lang pala that she just wanted the stair decors.

so i replied, "ma'am, im just doing my job. you should have told me that you were not a guest in that party and you kept on changing your mind on what you wanted so im just confirming your final order. you don't have to sound as if you're mad." ang bait ko pa diba? sabi ko pa, "you asked for my number from my co-supplier and you even told her that you wanted the exact decors so that's what she told me and that's what i quoted" she replied again but i did'nt reply na. sayang lang sa load ko. hahaha. i don't choose clients, that's for sure kasi ang belief ko sa ganyan, i started partyboosters so i can cater to all kinds of clients, budgeted man and party o hindi. and i texted her coz i dont want people to think that i'm being choosy na of which ones to book coz frankly, may utang pa sya sa ken sa cost ng order nya dahil super liit lang ng order nya, tipong 500 lang ata. so pagawa nya na lang sa anak nya. i chose to be nice but this was what happened. oh well...

ayun lang, naalala ko lang iblog. hehe. but it's all behind me now. i have more nicer clients and nag-iisa lang sya, kung sino man sya. :)

First anniv of partyboosters

In two months time, we will be celebrating Partyboosters' first anniversary! yey! thank you Lord! and i'm cooking something for my clients and potential clients. I'm thinking of making a series of promos for my clients. First, something for my GT clients. I will forever be grateful for these wonderful moms who have supported Partyboosters since the beginning. I wont mention names na lang since i might forget someone pero a bulk of my clients come from this groupl, that's why in return, i want to give something for them, a discount perhaps solely for its members. I still don't know how i'd go about the mechanics but im sure to have one for them. Thank you GT moms! :)

Next plans, hmmm, iisip pako! hahaha. :)

Fuchsia and fuschia

hahaha, sa dami ng nag-inquire sa ken on parties and themed parties and motiff, i often use colors to suggest for their parties. and nakakahiya man, recently ko lang nalaman ang right spelling ng fuchsia. hahaha. i know alam ko sya dati baka nalito lang ako or something (lulusot pa e, hehe) pero nakakatawa na sa game show ng Game ka na ba? ko pa nalaman ang spelling. when edu asked the contestant kung ano ang third letter sa word na fucshia, ako naman si confident sumagot na "S". yun pala C! hahaha. toink!

at least im humble enough to admit my mistakes and in denial to blame all of it to the anesthesia. hahaha.

Deprived it is

I'm so sorry for this blog has been deprived for so long. I could'nt find the "moment" to put myself into establishing another blog. but since i paid for this already, i have to maximize it diba?

anyway, it's been crazy busy with partyboosters. we are just happy that in only 10 months since it started, we have been given so much trust by our clients already that they recommend us to their friends and families who are celebrating special moments in their lives too. :) just this month, i think we have booked 16 events already (including the small ones) and there are still a couple of clients who are getting us, i think. Thank you Lord for all the blessings!

We're not yet there...i mean, i still have a lot to learn. hindi pako umaabot dun sa level na pwede nako ma-feature sa kumikitang pangkabuhayan tv program pero nakakatuwa lang that i think i found what i wanted to do. :) and with this kind of set-up, im getting the best of both worlds -- the world of my family and the world of building myself as a person.

1. I have this great fear that i might leave our iron plugged or the stove burning, thus, id have this tendency to go back to the house even if i checked it alreay. pretty OC eerr?

2. I don't like gelatin. period!

3. I'm pretty good with "puyatan". as in back in college when i was reviewing, i can take an exam without any sleep at all. have'nt really checked if i can still do it now.

4. I have this tendency to repeat exactly what has been said already by another person without me even acknowledging that i'd say the same thing. haha, as if hindi ako nakinig. parang ganun!

5. Every grocery, togue and tofu are always in the cart. as in, everytime!!! hehe.

6. I can finish a bowl of popcorn in one sitting, or Pringles all by myself, or better yet a pint of ice cream while watching TV. hehe

7. Weird is that i can't remember a 7th weird thing but i know there's a lot more.

Need to update

Gising, gising! Hindi na na-update tong blog na to. grabe, so many had passed and di ko na alam where to start. pero first off, Partyboosters is picking up good. I had to buy a new inflator though, one that's top of the line. Pero we thank God and He just keeps on giving us clients who believe on what we do. :)

dwayne's baptism in discovery suites - nikki is easy to deal with. i just love decorating the room kasi hotel. ahehe. plus, staff there are really accommodating. :)

Contingency plans

With the past week full of events, I had my fair share of what we call "emergency" cases thus the need for contingency plans. As in my inflator gave up on me. Nag-overheat sa tatlong events on the same day. My other hand pump broke also. kakatuwa noh? lahat bumigay. hahaha. and it left me to think that i really need to come up with back-up plans for this kind of things. i can't just accept that my decors will suffer because of faulty equipments. So I'm saving up for another inflator. (the one na nag overheat is still working naman), bought two more hand pumps, bought lots of supplies para all my staff don't have to borrow supplies from each other. kumbaga, lahat meron na. hahaha.

Wala lang, na-share ko lang. hahaha.
