It was fun doing the decors for your twins jovie and I'm glad they loved it. :)

this was my message to jovie when she emailed me and thanked me for the decors i did for their party. i planned on doing just floating balloons but when i saw the venue and how hard it will be for the crew of shakey's to install my floating balloons, i settled to doing the chandelier ones. and it turned out to be better actually.

I also made the Link-a-loons half-arch for their entrance. since it's kinda tedious, i started making the arch the night before so that all i had to do was to link the two sets i made and added two more balloons at the ends.

Too bad though, I forgot to insert my memory card for the digicam so i was'nt able to take pictures. thanks to jovie for giving me some but i'm having a problem uploading them :( will upload them soon.

thanks again jovie and glad to be a part of your life's major events. tihee. ;)

Flair Rocas' surprise party

I met her thru multiply and my invitation to be one of her contacts was very timely since she was planning a surprise party for her husband's birthday. I thought it was so sweet of her to do it, i mena, the surprise since they've been married for 13 years already and they still manage to keep the suspense of love burning. Congrats to you flair!

My online writing projects seem to be slow these past few weeks. and i think my last project's payment is overdue already. oh well, i emailed already and said that my pay will come on the 25th. *shi-shing!*

I really love payu2blog.com. Actually, of all the paid blogging sites i applied for, i think this is the most loyal and very consistent in giving assignments. and they really pay on time. My friend mai suggested that i try to ask for more assignments if i finish on tasks given to me. And they actually give more as their way of returning the favor. cool huh? I just got another 50USD this week for all my hard work. yey! thank you payu2blog!

Baby Forbes baptism

I have another event tomorrow at Acropolis. And just when i had everything prepared, our not-so-new car was kinda in her "sumpong" condition. Clutch seems to be sliding and it's sunday tomorrow so our mechanic cannot fix our car. And i'd have to commute everything. I hope there'll be a cab waiting for me outside the village.

Anyway, i'm excited about tomorrow. Motifs are blue, yellow and white. I will put swags again and of course, floating balloons. yey! wish me luck!

Here are some pictures from Sarah's party. She loves purple so much and we accentuated it with pink to lighten up the venue more. I put swags, i chose white since i thought purple and pink were too colorful already. I think it looked better.

The first set-up ever

I was so excited to do this...the very first set-up of Party Boosters. Thank you Sarah for the opportunity! And since Sarah is a good friend, it was more of a labor of love.

I wanted it to be very simple yet elegant coz that's how i picture my friend. She's very simple but her girly ways are what makes her elegant. She's the opposite of me, rowdy and loud. haha. :)

And since she adores purple, we chose that as her motiff with pink to compliment it. Designs were more on flowers and butterflies for a more feminine touch.

PARTY BOOSTERS!

I dreamt of another name but after making an email account and a multiply for it, i realized that there is a party shop by that name already. Sad but I also like this and many of my friends confirmed this name as well, so were going with the boosters! Actually, i stopped on thinking of a name for the balloon thingy (it's not yet a biz so we'll settle for the thingy word first) I like it. Boosters from the word boost -- to enforce, to liven up. Balloons may not be considered essentials for some, but we will see to it that we will change that notion eventually. If you're celebrating a special moment of your life, it deserves to be well-celebrated and to do that, party boosters are the answers to it -- Balloons, drapes, centerpieces and all. And what's good about it is that it does'nt have to be expensive! Yey!

Brand name testing

I've already gotten inquiries and a few clients in my balloon venture but i have'nt had the decent time to sit down and make a draft of my marketing plan and a name for the business. I, together with my friend Ritz, chat the other night to come up with names. So far, here are the names under study. Feel free to comment which one you like best or if you have one in mind. :)
