With the past week full of events, I had my fair share of what we call "emergency" cases thus the need for contingency plans. As in my inflator gave up on me. Nag-overheat sa tatlong events on the same day. My other hand pump broke also. kakatuwa noh? lahat bumigay. hahaha. and it left me to think that i really need to come up with back-up plans for this kind of things. i can't just accept that my decors will suffer because of faulty equipments. So I'm saving up for another inflator. (the one na nag overheat is still working naman), bought two more hand pumps, bought lots of supplies para all my staff don't have to borrow supplies from each other. kumbaga, lahat meron na. hahaha.
Wala lang, na-share ko lang. hahaha.

Mick's first birthday
I have'nt posted all parties here but this is the most recent one I did last sunday. I love how the dramatic my balloons looked here. winner! kudos to guj of redsheepphotography.
Theme: Disney Cars
Motiff: red, black and white
Mick's first bday
link-a-loon half arch with my DIY No. 1 sign. as much as possible, I make some DIY pieces in every event I do and here's one. I just made some black boxes in Microsoft excel to make it look like checkered boxes of F1 racing. Then, printed one copy and photocopied it on board. Made a number one and a pound sign, then glued on styro and die-cut. tada! hehe.
Note: Picture from my cam only. hehe. Notice the placemat used was F1-ish also. took two sheets of the photocopied prints, taped at the back and tada! hehehe.
This was the costume sewn by my MIL. She really is good. With only one fitting and no alterations needed. And best of all, best prices! winner too!
Thanks chrissie and Mark. Til our next party! More pictures here.

Another challenge
In just a short time since i started Partyboosters, I've come across various themes already and every party was fun to decorate specially if you've executed everything you envisioned it to be. :)
And you'd think that when we talk about kid's parties, first thing that comes to your mind are bright colors, flowers, butterflies, princes and princesses, racing cars, animals, et al. Yakee's party is an exception. With a working theme from the famous movie, Harry Potter series and the coming Halloween, my mind goes gaga with all the ideas coming to mind. The only downside of this is that I was'nt able to follow the series of Harry Potter, thus, the elements needed have to be thought twice if it's really Harry Potterish. hahaha. Good thing though, Mec (Yakee's mom and my good friend) does'nt pressure me too much with details. She gives me the leeway of doing the decors, which somehow makes me more pressured to do it! waah! I don't know, when it comes to decorating parties for friends or families, the pressure is twice as much. waah!
Can you believe I even dreamt about Yakee's decors?! hahaha. I tried looking for the materials for the design I dreamt about but to no avail, unless I steal the decors in Shangri-la mall which was pretty much like what I dreamt of. hahaha.
Good luck to Partyboosters! Update you with pics soon. And hope that we will be able to give justice to Harry Potter. hehehe. ;)
